• Dogs may not be treated without a completed Veterinary Referral form.
• Owners are requested not to feed their dog THREE HOURS prior to treatment.
• Whilst all reasonable precautions are taken, dogs swim entirely at their owner’s risk.
• Session fees (including Insurance claims) are payable on the day or in advance by block booking.
• Try to ensure the dog has been to the toilet (moved his/her bowels) prior to treatment.
• Bitches in season may not swim.
• Dogs with infectious conditions (for example, ear / eye infections), open sores or wounds may not swim.
• Owners are required to notify Guernsey Canine Hydrotherapy if during the treatment the dog’s condition worsens or the veterinary surgeon has advised that the course of treatment is to be changed, suspended or stopped.
• Guernsey Canine Hydrotherapy shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings or property of visitors whilst at the centre.
• It is the Owner’s responsibility to collect and dispose of any waste matter produced by their dog around the centre or nearby grounds.
• Owners are requested to groom their dog prior to swimming.
• A £20 fee will be payable for missed appointments or for appointments cancelled without reasonable notice.
• We advise owners to wear appropriate clothing whilst accompanying their dog to therapy sessions – you may get wet!
• Guernsey Canine Hydrotherapy reserves the right to refuse treatment.
• PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOG ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES, OR UNTIL OTHERWISE INSTRUCTED.
